Does paint thinner harm cork flooring?

I work my new cork floor, i left the people to clean up later from clean, then why not back up the glossy floor. I can leave them unable to smear seen. I refer to the artist paint thinner, paint the floor is complete loss? Thanks

    You bet! It’s very possible that a petroleum distillate or based thinner could’ve easily “eaten” away at the finish–probably a sealer of some sorts that was partially dissolved or etched by his attempt to clean his mess. Was it a thinner for the glue he used on the floor like for ex. denatured alcohol or just mineral spirits–paint thinner? Anyway, follow up on it because they may have to compensate you.
